Description
Marbled smoked Lapsang Souchong tea eggs on white dish. Smoked tea eggs make for an elegant presentation and are delicious served with Crème fraîche and caviar. I gently crock the eggs outer shell and place them in a pot with Lapsang Souchong tea and let them simmer for about 2 hours. The smoked Lapsang Souchong tea will color the egg brown along the cracks of their shells. Each egg looks stunningly different and are a wonderful conversation piece and unexpected dish for your friends to enjoy. The smoked tea in the title refers to the smoky, piney flavor of Lapsang Souchong tea, the traditional tea used for these smoked eggs.
