The single acorn comes from the oak tree and can be found on the ground all around town in autumn. The nut is a favored food among the wild critters who store them all over the place and then in spring, the acorn seed will begin to sprout. I created this watercolor drawing after reading about the little acorn symbol as a good luck charm to protect one's health. I remember fairy tales about the properties of acorns. Perhaps this is where the good luck charm sager came from. The background color on this artwork can be customized.
