Artist's Description
Assorted Fortune Cookies dipped in icing and chocolate. Fortune cookies are crisp cookies easy to make. Fill them with your own inspirational messages and fun fortunes. Fortune cookies are often served as dessert in Chinese restaurants in the USA and other countries but not in China.
To make your own. You need:
3 large egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter melted
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp water
1 cup all-purpose flour
Bake at 375 degrees
1) Whip the egg whites and add one by one the ingredients
2) Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone mat,
and have your fortune papers ready.
3) With a tablespoon, spoon the batter onto the parchment paper and spread to about a 3-inch circle
4) bake for 5-8 minutes a soft beige/brown
5) Flip the cookies
6 Fold your fortune cookie in half, into a semicircle.
7) Slip in your fortune paper
8)Place cookies in a muffin pan to shape
