Description
Blue Christmas Balls on pine branches, oil on canvas with lite blue background. Glass baubles were first made in Lauscha, Germany, by Hans Greiner (1550-1609) who produced garlands of glass beads and tin figures that could be hung on trees. Families today collect and adore their own chrisms ball ornaments, each having a special meaning or are associated to family members achievements. In our family we gift each of our children a new ornament each year, they will use to decorate their own christmas tree one day.
